Chick-fil-A fundraiser for college clubs

Cornell student clubs use Cornell Craves to run Chick-fil-A fundraisers with chicken trays and sandwiches. Post a drop, take orders online and hand out at pickup. Cornell Craves takes no fee.

Chicken trays suit club events, tailgates and game days, so clubs often bundle orders around a date.

Money never touches Cornell Craves. Students pay the club directly over Venmo or Zelle, and there is no commission or fee.

How a Chick-fil-A fundraiser works on Cornell Craves

A club posts a Chick-fil-A drop with a price, a goal, pickup spots and a closing time. Students see it in the live feed, order ahead and pay the club directly by Venmo or Zelle. At pickup, members scan the student's QR pass.

Cornell Craves is an independent student project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Chick-fil-A. Clubs are responsible for buying and fulfilling the order.

Two ways to raise money with Chick-fil-A

Ask the local restaurant

Chick-fil-A tells groups to reach out to their local Operator, and says donations and fundraisers are decided by each individual Operator. Use the Find a Restaurant tool on chick-fil-a.com to locate the nearest restaurant to Ithaca and ask what they offer and how much notice they need.

Run your own pre-order

Your club can also take orders itself, buy the trays or sandwiches, and hand them out at a planned pickup. On Cornell Craves the club posts a drop with a price and goal, students order and pay the club directly by Venmo or Zelle, and each buyer gets a QR pickup pass. That route depends on your club, not on a restaurant's schedule.

Before you sell on campus

A Cornell club selling food needs the Event Scheduling Request at least three weeks ahead and Cornell Dining approval. Cornell says vendor food should be pre-sealed and pre-packaged, so ask how the restaurant can package an order for pickup.
